Born in Vancouver and now living
in Kamloops, BC, Patrick Badminton has always been drawn
to create images with pen and pencil. Coming from an
artistic family, Patrick pushes that creative envelope
to a new level.
His studies in anatomy, structural design,
architecture, and landscaping give him the foundation on
which to anchor his work. Drawing inspiration from the
mundane world, he crafts images based both in fact and
fiction. Warriors, demons, bio-mechanical beings,
dragons and other fantastic creatures of his imagination
seem to come to life as he sketches.
As to requests, Patrick relishes a challenge. He
finds his intuition usually guides him along the correct
path. Ultimately, Patrick would like that path to lead
him toward a professional career as an artist.
