Welcome to
the newly updated and expanded William McAusland illustration
web site. It’s been almost two years since I’ve updated my web
site properly, as I have been booked solid with assignments for
several years in a row now, and finding free time at the end of
the work day to put a site together has been a challenge. I’ve
finally done it, and am pleased to present this new site to my
clients and prospective new clients.
Previously, I had specific web sites
set up to showcase various styles or subject matter of my work,
but now, I’ve created a way to search by either subject matter
or by artistic medium, as well as a sketchbook section and a
listing of my available stock illustrations with direct links to
each image's representative.
Many of my customers find me through
web searches, having never received advertising from me or my
associated marketing and stock illustration representatives, and
so, a new feature of this site is keyword and key phrasing, to
aide those who use both word and image based searches.
Another addition to this new improved
site is the various downloadable elements, including a PDF based
portfolio you can print off at your own home or office, some
desktop wallpapers for you monitor, and a couple of printable
posters as shameless self promotion on my part.
taken directly from my sketchbooks, showing the early
stages of some of the finished works you will find here.
additionally, in the about the artist section, you will find
all the usual biography, contact info and doing business
sections, as well as a client list, client testimonials page,
and a look at my studio and how I work, complete with a few
photos. Finally, there is a gift shop where customers can either
buy limited edition hand pulled, hand painted lino cuts,
purchase original artworks in the gallery, or cruise my cafe
press store which is hosted for me by an emerging RPG and Book
publisher, Outland Arts, where I fulfill the role of lead artist
and art director.
I hope you enjoy the new look and come back often, since I will
regularly update the ‘News’ section with recent projects.
Best regards,
Will McAusland |
